My New Album (a meme)

I found this great meme online, for creating "fake" albums covers.
Try it out for yourself...

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.

2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.

3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result as a comment in this post. Also, pass it along in your own journal/blog because it's more amusing that way.

INLAND EMPIRE (soundtrack)

So I got a good book and this INLAND EMPIRE soundtrack in the mail today... I'm trying to motivate myself to go to yoga, but even after dressing for the role I just don't know that I'm feeling it. I am in need of something though, I'm just not sure what! Maybe rest... I haven't been sleeping well.

This soundtrack is super fantastic! It's a great mix of ambient droning and strange tunes with great vocals. David Lynch himself does vocals on a number of songs, but one of my favorites is "Polish Poem" as sung by Christa Bell. It's such a lovely ethereal work of art. Of course all this has me thinking of Transcendental Meditation again. These YouTube testimonials are pretty damn convincing. Ahhh, some day perhaps, but maybe not just yet.

OK, I think I'm going to get up off my ass and go to yoga class... Or get a cheeseburger.

Sat Our Day

These are some pictures of the impromptu festivities that occurred on Saturday night. The first is the winner of the Skull Ranch creepy photo contest, Mike & Dan, In The Dark, the second is a Mac PhotoBooth miracle. The rest follow...

Internet Funnies

My mom sent me a few interesting images worthy of posting to the Ranch.

The first is just upsetting...
The others are just too damn cute...
