Something got into me and I rented from pay-per-view, Invasion of the Body Snatchers. It was billed as the stunning remake. I didn't realize the "stunning remake" was made in the 70's. Ugh. I thought it was a remake of the one from the 70's, but it is the one.I had forgotten the whole concept of the "things" from outer space growing a new you, then throwing the old zombie "you" out to the garbage the next day. Those things grow all covered in pink wiry hair, like plastic cotton candy spider webs. This is horrible, I shouldn't be watching this, on a Sunday morning, after way too much coffee. My nerves are shot. After this movie I'm going to go sit somewhere and stare at the lake and relax.

it was remade in 1978 and 2007...the best was the 1st in 1956 in black and white...I saw that at the theatre in Shadyside Ohio....I must have been a mere infant...
Look there's one from 1956 which is the original original. I'm watching the remake of that, from 1978. I wanted the 2007 version!!
